At Lons Infant school we believe that children come first and that all people involved should work together to provide and sustain the best possible environment for them to achieve their potential.
We strive to achieve high standards in every aspect of school life by stimulating an enthusiasm within each child to aim for personal excellence whilst being sensitive to the needs of others.
We will endeavour to encourage every child to behave responsibly in a loving, caring, secure and happy environment which is welcoming and homely where our children can all confidently explore and develop in a safe and secure place.
We value and respect independence by creating a love of learning where our children can learn to blossom and grow to be confident and positive thinkers in later life.
We individualise our children through child centered and create learning opportunities whilst encouraging a sense of belonging and community, and we support the children to develop the skills for life to enable them to become happy, successful citizens who grow to be lifelong learners.
Values are principles that guide behaviour. Our values create a strong learning environment that enhance academic achievement and develop social and relationship skills that last throughout children's lives.
Our positive learning environment is achieved through the positive values modelled by staff throughout the school. It provides social capacity to our children, equipping them with social and relationship skills, intelligence's and attitudes to succeed at school and throughout their lives.
Aim
At Lons Infant School, it is our aim to raise standards by promoting a school ethos which is underpinned by core values. These values support the development of the whole child as a reflective learner within a calm, caring, happy and purposeful atmosphere.
