E-Safety

E-safety is an integral part of children’s education in today’s digital world and is embedded in their learning at school. We also want to help our parents and children improve their own understanding of e-safety issues so they can learn to use the internet and all digital media in a safe and secure way.

Online Safety Training for Parents/Carers (Monday 7th December 2020)

  • CEOP KS1 Cartoon For small children aged 7-11, this cartoon is designed to keep them safe whilst online.
  • cbeebies Online Safety Keep your kids safe on the internet with these easy-to-follow tips for computers, phones and tablets
  • Childnet Smartie the Penguin - an online safety story for 3 to 7 year olds. Join in with Mummy Penguin’s song and follow the adventures of Smartie the Penguin as he learns how to be safe on the internet.
  • NSPCC Online Safety It can be hard to know how to talk to your child about online safety. From setting up parental controls to online games and video apps, we can help you to understand the risks and keep your child safe.
  • Safer Internet Centre Welcome to the Primary Zone! Here you will find films, storybooks and other fun sites, with plenty of information to help you enjoy your time online and stay safe on the internet.
  • Think U Know - Online Safety Education for 4-7 year olds Children are accessing technology and the internet at a younger age than ever before. It’s never too early to talk to your child about what they do online and who to tell if they come across anything online that makes them feel worried, scared or sad. This series of three animations aims to give 4-7 year olds knowledge, skills and confidence to help them respond safely to risks they may encounter online.
